Leg 18 - Malaysia: (November 2008 - November, 2009)
Sebana Cove - Our departure from Indonesia was uneventful, despite having carefully pick out through the heavy
ship traffic in the Singapore Strait. Sebana Cove is located just east of Singapore at the southern-most tip of
Malaysia. The marina is Asia's one and only up-river marina, and has proved to be a safe place to leave Dream
Weaver for an extended trip home.
Having secured the boat, Mark and I took some time to visit Singapore and Malaysia. We traveled mostly by train, to
visit Kuala Lumpur, Penang and Malacca. (I will add pictures and descriptions when I return to the boat in October
09).
In 2009, I will be moving the boat from Sebana Cove through the Malacca Strait to Langkawi, very near the southern
border of Thailand. More on this update once this portion of the trip has been concluded.
